[TPR material] What material is TPR? Advantages and uses of TPR materials

[TPR material] What material is TPR? Advantages and uses of TPR material TPR is a thermosetting rubber material, which is generally modified by SBS plate (in a small range, this is also the method of division with SEBS modified TPE). It is generally made into spherical particles, ellipsoidal particles and their round shape smooth, transparent or milky white particles.

TPR material has the resilience and good wear resistance of ordinary rubber, and the anti-skid and shock-absorbing properties of the ground are excellent, but the soft comfort is superior to that of rubber. In addition, the tensile strength, fatigue relief and physical properties of tpr material are not as good as vulcanized rubber. However, the production and processing method is simpler than that of rubber. It can be produced, processed and manufactured by ordinary plastic machines, and can also be used for plastic modification, plastic packaging or composite injection molding with PP, ABS and other materials, without vulcanization like rubber, to improve productivity. In addition, TPR is a new environmental protection material, non-toxic and odorless, and can be recycled, which is also a great advantage compared with rubber.

Compared with TPE, TPR has some shortcomings. To a certain extent, the acid resistance, aging resistance and hydrolysis resistance of TPR are not as good as that of TPE, which is why many comparable products on the market are made of TPE materials instead of TPR. But in other words, TPR is also a region with its comparative advantages. For example, TPR is easy to glue, and is generally used for shoe products and small toy products.

Because TPR materials meet the environmental monitoring standards, they can replace PVC materials, and are used for raw material optimization in many fields, such as adult products, diagnosis and treatment, vehicles, electronic device communication, etc., to produce and manufacture adult products, medical devices (drug plugs, medical catheters), handles for industrial production products, various handles, universal wheels for luggage and leather goods carts, sports devices (tension belts, fitness pads, etc.), which are widely used.
